Accommodation Guest Reviews

The Palms Backpackers Review
23 Hughes St Kings Cross Australia
1/5 Star Rating
I stayed in this backpackers for a total of one night ..... because I was disgusted with the entire layout and dirtiness of the place, as well as lack of information from anyone that stayed there. The night manager didn't arrive until the morning and didn't know who i was, and the person that gave me the key to a room that didn't lock, didn't know anything about me arriving at all. The room I stayed in was littered with empty coke cans, ash filled trays from cigarettes, unemptied rubbishbins, and a grotty bathroom where the water leaked out onto the floor from someone who had broken the water barrier, plus no toilet paper!!!. I also slept in a top bunk that had a window that wouldn't open. No security, lack of information and as for the free breakfast? . that is if anyone could find anything that i could have eaten ..... I was disgusted with the entire place, and moved out the next morning not long after I woke up. Any honest reviewer staying in this place would expect to be throrougly disappointed as I was. I won't stay again. To the people that own this backpackers? ... have the decency to be honest about what's written on your website, instead of issuing information that's downright dishonest. Your place did nothing to make me want to return, and at least make the effort to clean the place up ... you might get a lot more people coming back.
