Built 1759-65 for Nathanial Curzon, 1st Lord Searsdale. Contains the most complete example of Robert Adams' interiors in England and is considered to be his finest work. Kedleston Hall The old house, and a village, were cleared to make way for a great eighteenth century landscape park. Robert Adam designed the house and the 3-arched bridge across the lake.
