Stonehaven Guide
Stonehaven is a pleasant holiday town on the coast, 15 miles south of Aberdeen, superbly set in the sweeping curve of Stonehaven Bay with cliffs 100ft high on either side. Local attractions include Dunnottar Castle, Heated Open Air Pool and Fireballs Festival. An ideal base for touring, with easy access to many attractions including castle, coastal and whisky trails. The area has many hotels B&Bs and caravan parks, as well as a wide range of shops, pubs and leisure facilities.

The club caters for those interested in sailing dinghies and yachts. Dinghy racing takes place from March to the beginning of June at the Loch of Skene, West of Aberdeen. From June to the end of October the racing moves on to the sea at Stonehaven.
