Segontium Roman Museum Caernarfon
Segontium Roman Museum vividly portrays the story of the conquest and occupation of Wales by the Romans and displays the finds from the close auxiliary fort of Segontium, one of the most famous in Britain.
Segontium Roman Fort
The Romans did get here, and this was a Roman military settlement, just on the outskirts of modern Caernarfon. There is a National Trust museum on the site containing Roman relics found there.
