The Llanberis Lake Railway
The Llanberis Lake Railway lies along the northerly shore of Llyn Padarn, a picturesque lake having, at its southern most end, the town of Llanberis. The railway itself is a 2' gauge line of 2 1/2 miles length. Trains are normally steam hauled.
The Snowdon Mountain Railway
The normal destination is Snowdon Summit Station. Trains do not run to a strict timetable. Weather permitting, and if there at least 25 passengers, the first train of the day is scheduled to depart from Llanberis at 09.00 hrs.
